In July of 2020, my life changed overnight. I was diagnosed with breast cancer. My treatment was aggressive—a double mastectomy followed by chemotherapy. Because my cancer was estrogen and progesterone positive, I’ve remained on hormone blockers to prevent recurrence. Thankfully, I’ve been cancer-free since my surgery and chemotherapy, and I’m incredibly grateful for that every single day.

When I started using full hormone blockers, I really began to understand what so many women quietly struggle with. Vaginal dryness is something people don’t talk about enough. And when I say dryness, I don’t mean mild discomfort. Some days it was truly unbearable. It severely affected my comfort and confidence. As I started searching for solutions, I was shocked by how few good options there were for women going through hormonal changes.

That moment stuck with me. If this was happening to me—and millions of other women—why weren’t there better solutions? That’s why I created Vlush. It was born from my own journey and my own need for relief. My hope is that Vlush helps other women who are navigating hormonal changes feel more comfortable in their bodies again and reminds them that they are not alone.
